"Wow I lost 6.5 inch & 7.3 pounds of fat!  I have a waist & I can fit into my tightest jeans.  It really encouraged me to continue working out & eating right.  I gave up my chocolate in the afternoon.  I am continuing to lose weight & inches.  Awesome technology!"

(Results vary from person to person.  Average results from manufacturer's clinical trial was 3.64 inches combined loss across waist, hips and thighs after 6 treatments over a 2 week period.)

The LipoLaser used in the Zerona procedure is a "cold" laser.  In contrast to high-power, high-heat lasers that are used in various surgical procedures, the new Zerona laser produces a low-level, or cold, output that has no thermal effect on the body’s tissue. Instead, the non-invasive laser helps the body absorb fat by stimulating biological function. Excess fat is then removed naturally by the body without the negative side effects and downtime associated with more invasive procedures such as liposuction.

To really get a good picture of this at work, look at the video below to see Electron Microscope time-lapse photography of a group of fat cells collapsing.

The way this works is that when the laser is used over subcutaneous fat tissue (fat between the muscle and skin) it opens a pore in the fat cells which allows the fat inside to be evacuated.  When the fat is outside the cell, the cell itself collapses and then the fat is available to be eliminated from the body by its normal elimination and detoxification functions.

The research represented in the pictures below was done in the US using an Erchonia laser and shows time released photography of one fat cell and its contents being emptied.  Please note the cell is still alive.

At this point you're probably wondering what steps would be done with you to get fat reduction.  So let's look at The Procedure.
